Clayton Wohlk of Rainbow Valley Dairy Farm in Wisconsin installed a ROPS on his John Deere 2840 in 2025. After, he shared with program staff, “We are happy to have ROPS on our JD 2840 that we brought onto our farm a couple years ago. It gives a sense of security while hauling loads on a fairly busy county road as well as maneuvering through the fields and around the farm. It feels good to have a seat belt now while doing farm work with our 2840 so that we can stay in control of the tractor if something unplanned was to happen.”
Clayton also has an employee on his farm, and shared that he now has “peace of mind and greater flexibility with which pieces of equipment my employee is able to operate. I want him to be able to get home to his family every night.”
